Etude House Golden Ration Contour Maker #2 Pink

Have you ever wonder why do the celebrities look so great in the magazines and commercial and whatever? The secret key is: shading and highlighting. Believe it or not, a make up without shading and highlighting will not look that great in photo shooting and real life as well. So you can say it should be included in every cosmetic bag for full make up. Now let's see what is so special about this contour maker by Etude House. It comes  in 3 different powders to enhance different radiance: cheeks (pink, shimmery light pink blusher), contour shading (brown, shimmery almost unnoticeable shading powder) and contour highlighting (translucent, shimmery radiant highlighting powder). Unfortunately, you will soon realize that the brown powder is not really useful. Firstly, it is really 'unnoticeable' like you got nothing on even if you applied on a lot. Next, it is too light to be used as eyeshadow. Yes, you can use it as eyeshadow for daily look but you will look like you applied nothing on your eyes except your skin is pale (like me) then you may see a little bit difference. And it is the lesser shimmery powder among the three powders.
The packaging.
All right, now I gonna say about the other powders in the case. The pink powder is suitable for daily use as very light pink blusher. You can apply it over your usual blushers to add on more radiance to your look (yet looking natural). The translucent powder can actually be used as a shimmery setting powder if you just use it a little bit over your whole face. You may add some of it on the areas you wanna add on radiance (such as t-zone and under eyes). It is not advisable for oily skin to apply too much of the translucent powder because it will make your skin look more oily when your skin produces facial oil. The packaging is quite attractive. It actually comes with a small cheek brush. You can simply put this contour maker in your bag and retouch your skin anytime with the brush which comes with it. The powders last for the whole day, even for me (I have combination skin). My mum bought this about RM35 at Etude House, 1 Utama. The thing I really like about Etude House is they have many attractive, affordable and good quality cosmetics. They often have promotions so check the stuffs out next time when you pass by one ^,^. *Tips: you can even apply it on the body to enhance the appearance.

Full make up.
