So Far Experiences With Make Up

The Best of 'Face-Periences'

Branded: Diorskin Nude Liquid Foundation (pardon me if I got the wrong name, about RM140, good enough for dinners ONLY, avoid to apply more than a little bit or else you will look suck, nice result for nearly flawless skin), Make Up For Ever HD Liquid Foundation (So smooth and it's the best among the photoshooting type of foundations, RM135, available for all skin types and races, may be thick for daily wear, high coverage and long lasting... unless your skin is oily then it will only last about 7-8 hours maximum), Make Up For Ever Lift Liquid Foundation (RM140, available in many shades, provides moisture for dry mature skin, smooth, long lasting and high coverage yet looks very natural, instantly youth delivery! A little goes a long way, no concealer will be required), Make Up For Ever Matte Velvet Liquid Foundation (available in many shades, very long lasting and waterproof, matte effects, full coverage, can be worn and go under water without problems, RM135).

Affordable: L'Oreal Paris True Match Liquid Foundation (natural coverage, matches skin very well, it lasts about 8-10 hours on oily skin maximum, about RM65), L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Liquid Foundation (it only lasts 5 hours or more on dry skin, may be better on normal skin, smooth and nice coverage, just like BB Cream, RM60), Revlon Colourstay Liquid Foundation (RM65, thicker than other foundations but that's why it claims to be cable for 16 hours and comes with full coverage if more is applied, water resistant).

The Best of Powders

Branded: Make Up For Ever Matte Velvet 2 Way Foundation (RM140, not sure about the name, available in many shades, long lasting and perfectly made for oily skin, full coverage, smooth finishing), Shu Uemura Loose Powder (choose either light shimmery type or matte type, the smoothest texture you can find in the world, RM140, available in many shades and long lasting).

Affordable: Za True White 2 Way Foundation (RM37, very long lasting, more than full coverage suitable for all skin types, non drying, available for pale to medium skin tones, neither too pinkish nor too 'muddy', nice packaging by the way), Za Skin Beauty 2 Way Foundation (RM37, very long lasting, suitable for oilier skin, controls oil very well and delivers semi matte look, good coverage, not too pinkish for pale to darker skin, nice packaging), Revlon Loose Powder (forgot the name, comes in pinkish translucent shade and light beige shade, thicker than others but it means that a very little goes a long lasting and set your make up matte all day long, about RM60, comes in very big packaging).

The Best of 'Eye Do'

Branded: Make Up For Ever Aqua Eye Liner (available in 25 shades if I am not mistaken, nearly RM100 each, super waterproof, perfect pigments, can be worn as eyeshadow if used probably), Make Up For Ever Aqua Eye Liquid Eyeliner (available in smokey black and other shades, waterproof, about RM110 if I am not mistaken, can be quite challenging for beginners to use).

Affordable: Kji Liquid Eyeliner (water resistant, dries up in 10 seconds, easy application, about RM40, slim brush for easy application), Majolica Majorca Jewelled Kohl Pencil (almost RM30, easy application, sweat resistant, very minimal fade off, available in many shades, mostly with shimmery, smooth texture and it also means to be used up very quickly), Maybelline Eye Studio Gel-Cream Eyeliner (in black or brown or limited edition- blue, RM40, may fades a little bit after some time but still worth it, comes with a good quality slim eyeliner brush which allows eyeliner to be applied smoothly and easily, good for beginners and cat eye lovers).

The Best of Shadows...

Branded: Make Up For Ever (available in all kind of texture, the best shadows on the market, from RM80 something to RM90 something, non fading, very very pigmented), Make Up For Ever Star Powder (available in many shades, very pigmented, loose eyeshadow type, about RM100 each, very long lasting and perfect!).

Affordable: Inglot (similar with MAC but better quality perhaps, slightly cheaper than MAC, pigmented, not sure if it is long lasting but definitely a good try), The Balm (available in nearly 30 shades, pigmented, RM65 each if I am not mistaken, may be long lasting), The Balm Overshadow (loose type eyeshadow, available in 4 shades, very pigmented and attractive packaging and names, not sure if it is long lasting but I bet it is), Rimmel (available in single mousse type-under RM20 and palette type- over RM20, pigmented, long lasting, best if applied with fingertips, sweat resistant).

The Best of 'Kiss Mama'

Branded: Dior Lip Addict Lipstick (pigmented and glossy texture, about RM100, available in many shades, such texture type lipstick usually... less lasting, nice in both live and photos), Make Up For Ever (comes in several type of textures, available in many shades, very long lasting and waterproof type is available, highly pigmented), Dior Lip Addict Lipgloss (better than average, I don't really think it's long lasting, nice shades anyway, available in many shades, about RM100, nice packaging), MAC lip liner (comes in several types, comes in many shades and very creative packaging, not sure if it is long lasting, no idea about the price, smooth to go on the lips).

Affordable: Rimmel London Show Off Lipstick (may be slightly dry so lip balm is needed, comes in many shades, mostly brown based which means more natural shades, nice texture and coverage, long lasting than average lipsticks, about RM30 and very nice packaging), Revlon Colourburst Lipstick (highly pigmented, about RM40, available in a few shades, nice true red anyway, long lasting and perfect for night looks), Rimmel London Lipliner (very waterproof, the 'nude' is the best sharp pink lipliner I ever used, very long lasting, it is pigmented enough to be used as lipstick, about RM25 only, comes in several shades, may be a problem when it comes to removal), Revlon Colourburst Lipgloss (about RM35, comes in several shades, pigmented and can be used alone, not sure if it is long lasting or moisturizing).

The Best of Mascara (My Favourite Part!)

Branded: Make Up For Ever Smokey Eyes (really smokey look and waterproof... if I am not mistaken, over RM100), Diorshow (or snow, I don't really remember, it fallens lashes but lengthens lashes a lot, not long lasting anyway, good for night looks, about RM100), MAC Zoom Fast Black Lashes (not waterproof, not sure about the price, should be about RM60, nice and really black eyelashes! Makes me look like a doll but it fallens very quickly).

Affordable: Maybelline Volume Express Hypercurl (available in Black and Black Brown, about RM36, lasts about 3-4 months after first application, lasts all day and holds curl well, fair lengthening and volumizing), Maybelline Volume Express Cat Eyes (available in Feline Black, clumps a little bit but makes you look like you are wearing false eyelashes! Super lengthening and fair volumizing and dramatic cat eyes look. The best mascara I ever used. About RM38).

The Best of Face Primers

Branded: Dior (no idea about the name, comes in pinkish liquid, easy application and fairer and glamous look after application, no idea about the lasting effects and the price), Make Up For Ever HD (comes in several shades to suit all shades, can be blended for perfect shade, about RM160 I guess, makes skin glows and problems are less noticeable), Shu Uemura Mousse Base (forgot the name, about RM130 if I am not mistaken, dewy result, super long lasting oil control).

Affordable: L'Oreal Paris White Perfect BB Cream (RM50, dewy dewy~, available in only pinkish brown very fair shade, suitable for less yellowish skin, moisturize skin and last about 5-7 hours on oily skin, brightens and conceals skin immediately for no make-up make up).

The Best of 'Facial Shade-ME!!'

Branded: Make Up For Ever (professional made shades, RM140 for highlighting and shading powder in 1 case, smooth and no make up finishing), Dior blusher and bronzer and highlighter (no idea about the prices, good quality, more is needed to be applied for noticeable result, smooth finishing result), Anna Sui (good pink blushes and cute vintage packaging, no idea about the lasting effects and the price).
