Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Eyeliner in Black

 I have this gel cream eyeliner from Maybelline for more than 1 year (or probably two years... yeah I know I should dispose it and get a new one) and yet it still be able to be used as smooth as it was newly used, so do the small liner brush which comes with the eyeliner in 1 set. This eyeliner available in black and brown. It did has one limited edition which comes in blue but I did not get it because I don't think I will be wearing an blue eyeliner. Still black and brown eyeliner are the best in the selection to me. So, I picked up the eyeliner in black. It only costs me about RM40 if I am not mistaken.

The brush still works great even after hundred times of washing. 

As you can see from the picture above, the eyeliner packaging isn't that attractive. I wonder why did Maybelline pick this kind of cap. It reminds me of Coke. Please do not be fooled by look. It does better work than most gel cream eyeliners on the market and yet still affordable. This is quite long lasting. You gonna believe it because its from a person with oily eyelids (me). However, it will fade away some after many hours outside and may drops a bit on the bottom. It doesn't look noticeable on me. The brush allows you to control the heaviness of the eyeliner. It is handy and small enough to put in travelling cosmetic purse. You can either wear it very light or only on the upper eyelash lines or make it heavier like I did in the following pictures.

In the picture above, I teamed the eyeliner with Za True White 2 Way Foundation, Etude House Highlighter and minimal Silkygirl Lipgloss. I actually wear it on both the upper and bottom eyelash lines sometimes. It is safe to be used on more sensitive eyes. It makes your eye make up looks much better even with only thin lines. Furthermore, I also use it to darken my eyebrows like I did in the picture. The shade may not be the blackest black but it still looks great on all skin types and skin tones and ages and sexes. You may blur it a bit with the brush or your fingertips to make it looks more natural and less heaviness.

You may add on a few coats of volumizing mascara in black or black brown to add on the drama ^^. It claims to be able to stay on 24 hours but I think this will only stay on about 12 hours on oily eyelids. It is waterproof and a stronger eye remover is needed. The gel cream will not dry out unless you leave it 'unsealed' for many hours. The texture is more likely to be creamy and you may need to wait for a few seconds to let it dry.It is available at all Maybelline counters.

Majolica Majorca Customize Shadow in PK333

Well, I am sure many of you have seen this stuff on the MM (Majolica Majorca)counters but wondering what would it works. Let I tell you now. MM has a variety of eyeshadow palettes and they do actually selling this customize shadow in several shades. The textures and packaging of these eyeshadows are not that similar. This customize range eyeshadow is more likely to 'creamier' than the palettes. It feels like mousse. And the packaging is just like the customize cheek blusher. You can actually get a blusher and eyeshadow palette at MM counter to put either two of this customize shadows or a customize blusher.

 You can clearly see that it has shimmery (just like the blusher) but it appears to be satiny and less noticeable shimmery on the eyes.

 You can even use it as a blusher. Just have a little bit of it and run it over your cheeks and it always work on my cheeks! The colour is actually sharp pinkish coral. So you should not worry if you will look weird cause it won't end up looking too pink on your eyes.

 Now, I am ready to put it on my eyes with fingertips. I find its much easier to apply mousse eyeshadows on eyes with fingertips. You may need to work harder with eyeshadow brushes.

Used as eyeshadow and blusher.

This is available at all MM counters. It has lasting and outstanding effects. At least it last longer than the palette eyeshadows. It is priced about RM25.

Arezia #983 Blush Brush

 I bought this Arezia #983 blush brush at Sasa. It is handy for home personal make up. I said that because you wouldn't wanna have someone to know that you are using a cheap (it is priced at RM10) brush to do your make up. However, it is still a fair quality brush to be used for loose powder, 2 way foundation and blusher and bronzer. I always use the same and only one brush for the whole face (except for the eyeshadows). It can be a little bit uncomfortable at the first using but it goes smoother and better after a few times of using and washing. *I do brush cleansing once or twice a month.

This kind of affordable stuff is suitable for lazy people who wanna have cheaper but still fairly good things to do with their make up. But you have to watch out for any 'hair' left on your face. >.<.

Za True White 2 Way Foundation

First of all, I would like to say this is definitely the best 2 way foundation I ever had and used. It beats all those high end branded 2 way foundations. The packaging is nice but its like a magnet. It collects all the fingerprints but it would not be nice if it isn't in such design right? The case and the foundation are sold separately. The case is about RM15 and the foundation is about RM35. Za has another 2 way foundation which is named the Skin Beauty 2 way foundation. This Skin Beauty foundation disappointed me but the pink case for the foundation is same as this True White case so you may choose either one to place any 2 way foundations from Za.

Honestly, this is one of the best 2 way foundation you can find in the drugstores. The coverage is buildable, it provides light to high coverage yet looking natural, flawless and radiant. It can conceal the flaws (including eye bags and redness) easily but try not to do it too much at once because that may make you look cakey. It has outstanding lasting effect. It lasts me the whole day and all I see is a little bit of smiling lines. It can be removed easily and it will not make your skin dry. Furthermore, I am not sure about the claimed whitening effect but it does make me look radiant. It won't fade away even if I touched my skin. I am using the lightest tone in the True White foundation range which would be #20. It has #20, #21, #22, #32 (if I am not mistaken).

L'Oreal Paris White Perfect Transparent Rosy Whitening BB Cream SPF20++

I remember this is out and sold few months ago but it doesn't seem to be very popular to the BB cream gals or people who prefers light and natural look make up. I did try this on my hand when it is newly launched and it did not impress me at first. I thought it was a little bit darker than my skin tone and it seemed to be quite common.

1. Just got out from the tube. 2. *Photo with no flash. 3. *Photo with flash. 2 and 3. *Left has no cream, middle has the cream on.

However, I got this around RM45 last month at Parksons, 1 Utama. The original price is RM49.90 (in only one shade, 30ml). I tried it on my hand again and this time my hands and face got a little darker than last year (I just done the NS thing on last December). It looks a bit fairer than my hand but I thought this should match my face well since my face is slightly fairer than my hands. The coverage is buildable, from very sheer light to medium. It does not cover redness completely but at least it make my flaws less noticeable. It creates very dewy look without powder.

I usually set this with the Za True White 2 way foundation in #20. At the end, I still have the dewy look but it is less dewy than without the powder. However, I like using this and the powder together for usual make up. No concealor is needed except for the bad days (sometimes I just cannot escape from the sweet stuffs and oily food...). It matches my skin well. It doesn't have weird smell or feeling on my skin. It lasts 5-6 hours without powder on oilier skin. Even with the powder on, I still feel like it is melting after several hours outside. But I still look good before I remove the makeup after having the make up on about 12+ hours. Perhaps a good base is needed before this BB cream for oily skin. It comes in light pinkish brown base. It is suitable for pink and less yellow undertone people. I don't think this will work that well for darker skin. Speaks about the benefits, it claims to be a whitening and moisturizing product with SPF20++ protection. I am not sure about these stuffs but I am pretty sure that my skin won't get dried at the end of the day. And it really looks very light on skin unless you apply more (but that won't make it look heavy). One may just apply this as a brightening and moisturizing base. It is available at most pharmacies and stores. I let my mum tried this and she purchased it after two days of using it at discounted price too. It also matches her skin and makes her look much younger (she has pink undertone medium skin).
